Day 49

CURT: GAIN:   2.0 lbs TOTAL LOSS: 38 lbs
JAMIE: GAIN:  4.0 lbs TOTAL LOSS: 12.6 lbs

Breakfast:
C: SF/ FF Americano coffee, Phily cheese steak omelet, cottage cheese, tomato slices
J: SF/ FF Americano coffee, 2 eggs, 1 chorizo, cottage cheese, tomato slices

Lunch:
C and J: chicken tenders

Dinner:
C & J:chicken w/ onions, garlic and endamme

Water:
C: 2 quarts, 2 diet sodas
J: 3.5 quarts, 3 diet sodas

Exercise:
J: ran 1.3 miles, walked 1 mile, rode stationary bike 35 minutes: 11.25 miles

How did I put on 4 lbs in one day?!?!?!  In fact...  I don't think I ate enough food yesterday to even equal 4 lbs!  Ridiculous!  Anyways...  we're seeing the cycle Curt always goes thru.  He loses a nice chunk of weight, then puts some back on but loses it again.  We're seeing me stuck at the same old weight.  Bah!!

  1. I found when I stopped drinking diet soda, I started losing again. Some say aspartame inhibits fat loss. Also, Tim Ferriss, who wrote "4-Hour Body", noticed that as long as he stayed under 16oz of diet soda, his weight loss continued, so when I do drink diet soda w/aspartame, I keep it at max 1 can. Have you tried making quick lemonade w/stevia? I pour in some lemon juice out of a bottle into a tall glass, 1 packet of stevia, and then water, and I can drink as much of that as I like.

    1. I don't normally drink more than 1 soda a day. That day was abnormal for me. I woke up thirsty and all I had in here was a can of soda, then had one for lunch and a kid brought me another for dinner. So... I just got lazy. I normally have my water on me and drink that like crazy!
